Researchers at Children’s Hospital Boston have created a Zebra fish which is see-through, therefore allowing scientists to see all it’s major organs. The fish, which is genetically similar to humans, are good role models for human biology and the study of disease. At the moment the amphibian is being used in cancer treatment tests.

Volvo has come up with a crash-proof family car which will go on sale in the autumn.
Its secret is a laser-guidance system to spot vehicles in front that are too close or stopping suddenly. When it does, the Volvo will stop of its own accord to avoid a smash.
A spokesman for the firm says, "It sounds like sci-fi fantasy - cars that can't crash. But the fictional notion is about to become reality."
